A few months ago, I went to Manila for I have something to fix about the insurance claims, condo rental, and some other important things. The embassy is in Paseo de Roxas corner Ayala Avenue, while the condominium is in Chino Roces, both in Makati. When I was done at the embassy, I had a chance to walk around and took some photos. Actually, Ayala, Makati was my sanctuary when I was still living in Manila. This was the place that I run from office to office almost everyday, from Monday to Friday. As I was looking at the people walking around, I could tell, there was no change at all. People were always on the run. No one walked like walking under the moonlight. They were in a hurry and probably doesn't like to be late from their works or appointment. When I took a bus ride going to MOA (Mall Of Asia) for I had a meeting with one of my friends here in the blogosphere, the bus I have ridden was full of passengers, but at least, it was an air-conditioned bus. Now, I am planning to visit Manila again next month.
Living in Manila is far different from living here in Davao. The cost of living in Manila is high, while Davao, even if the salary is smaller compared in Manila, but at least the food here is much cheaper than in Manila.
