Yesterday, we don’t have electricity. If I was not mistaken, the electric power died around 3:00 in the early dawn. Fortunately, my room has big windows on both sides so it was not hot while we were sleeping. I got up from the bed around 5:00 in the morning just to check if we have water because usually, if there is no electric, the water will be gone too. Well, when I checked the faucet, there was no water, so I went back to sleep. My son was asking why I didn't wake him up. I told him, there were no water and no electric so how can I prepare his food. So he went back to bed as well, and didn't go to school.
I thought the brownout was only here in our place, but I have learned or heard from the news that the whole Mindanao region had no electric power, and the government authority didn’t know the cause of the power failure. The electric power came back in the afternoon, but it was just a couple of minutes, and then it died again, and it came back around 8:30 in the evening. Huh! It was indeed a long blackout, and the bad thing was; we didn't receive any advisory from the electric company.
