Flowers on Valentine's Day

Oops! January is about to end, and there you come Valentine's Day. I wish somebody would give me flowers, chocolates, a stuff toy like Teddy bear. Unfortunately, no one will give me flowers this Valentine's Day. Ha ha Poor woman. No, I am not. As long as I am with my family, I will be happy. Love from my children is the most important thing to me. Since the eldest has a girlfriend, I would have a date with my youngest on Valentine's Day.

Pre-registration for High School

This was taken last Saturday when I went to the school. There was a pre registration for the incoming Grade 7 for this school year. I was glad that it was a sunny day, so before leaving the house, I asked my niece to take photos of me. She was using her android phone, and I guess the photos were not so bad. What do you think?

By the way, I put some SPF 60 sunscreen lotion when I went out to ensure that I won't get a sunburn when I get back. Lol

Football Club Hats From Bayern, Germany

In my previous post, I mentioned that I received a package from Germany, and one of the contents of the package is the hat from a Football Club in Bayern, Germany. Honestly, I didn't expect that there is a hat in the package. All I know was the book for my German Language Lesson. Yes, you read it right. I am studying German language for I have planned to go to Germany, and I won't go there if I can't speak a little German. To be honest, German language is so hard to learn, but you will love it eventually. I am glad that Rainer sent this book to me. It really helps me to learn more German language easily.

Below are the two hats. I like the red color than the black, but I like them both.

The Package Has Arrived

I have been waiting for this package for a month now, and finally; it arrives only today. I was happy when my father called me, and told me that I have a package delivered outside. So, I hurriedly went out the gate. It was actually our neighbor who delivered the package because he is working at the post office here in our place. I asked him if the package came from Germany, and he said "yes". After signing the receipt, he gave me the package. I was so excited to open it, even if I knew what's inside the box. My son was not yet home when it was delivered, so I immediately open it because I just want to hide the two caps from him. Haha So, after opening it, I put the caps in my closest right away. I so love the caps. Anyway, I will write the details of the cap on my other blog.

So, here are the contents of the box. A black and red caps with a logo Football Club Bayern, Munchen.

And the book: A German Self-Study Course for Beginners. Yes, that's right. I am studying a German language now. So, wish me luck.

Chilly Night and Morning Make Him Feel So Lazy

Last night, when I was on bed already, I could hear the wind blowing wildly. I could hear the cracking sound from the branch of the trees. I waited for a couple of minutes before I finally sleep. The good thing was; it was not raining, but the wind was so cold. You don’t need to turn on your air-condition or electric fans. Just open your window and cover it with a not so thick curtain and you can sleep comfortably. It was colder when the dawn came, and I had to close the other window. My son, who was sleeping inside my bedroom but on a separate bed, was sleeping deeply with the blanket covered to his entire body.

At 4:30 in the morning, I stood up on the bed and went to the kitchen because it is still Friday, and they have classes today. I cooked rice, and viand for his lunch box. I also prepared food for his breakfast and a hot water for his shower. At 5:45 A.M., I woke him up. He didn’t move at first, but on the second call, he started to stretch his body. I went back to the kitchen thinking that he will follow me in the kitchen. I waited for another minute, and he didn't come, so I went back to the bedroom and waking him up again. He replied and said, the wind is so cold, and he doesn't feel to go to school today. And since today is Friday, and I knew that they don’t have regular classes yet, so I let him sleep again.

Goodbye School Break, Welcome Back School Days

If you could only see the faces of the two kids here at home last night, you would surely laugh at them. They were not happy that they need to go to bed early so they could get up early the next morning because Monday is the first day of school. School break has been ended, but they wanted more school vacations. Haha. Unfortunately, they cannot do anything but to go to school, otherwise they will go back to the same level or grade by the next school year if they don't finish this school year.

Anyhow, I expected that we will have an early argument again just like we usually had when it is school days, but to my surprised, Janjan got up on his bed with a smile, and he asked if he has hot water already for his bath. I told him the bathroom was ready, and he can now go to shower. He went into the bathroom and took the shower. After taking a bath, he wore his school uniform, and then he ate his breakfast.

I never heard his mouth mumbling while doing his morning tasks like fixing his bed, bathing, changing clothes, eating, brushing teeth, and the last is wearing his shoes. I don’t know if he is excited to go to school today, or not. Even so, I was happy that our first day of school was fine. No arguments, no mumbling, and they left at home for school like ordinary school days. I am certain that when they come back, they surely have assignments from different subjects. Wish me luck then that we will not fight for it. lol

These photos were taken last Christmas Holiday. It was taken at SM City Mall, Ecoland.

Back To School on Monday

Yes! The school will resume on Monday, and the two kids here at home are not happy for this. If they could only stop the clock, they would. But they have nothing to do except to prepare all their school things starting today. I asked them to check their notebooks about school assignments, or projects. I could hear my niece murmuring while checking her school bag. She’s not really happy with it. I told her that if she does not go to school on Monday, the teacher will not accept her anymore, and with that, she will go back to Grade 3. I got no answer when I told this to her. Janjan, on the other hand, has done checking his notes. His bag is set; the school shoes are clean, school uniforms are pressed, and I guess everything is prepared. Well, they still have two days more to play with their tablets or playstation, but on Sunday night, they must go to bed early.

Here's Janjan and Melmel (my niece) after eating at Jollibee.
