Blue Monday - My son.

It's time for our blue photos again so here is my entry for today. He's my youngest son. Actually, I didn't know who took this photo. I just found it yesterday when I was looking at the photos of my uncle who died a few days ago. It looks like Janjan wanted to climb this tree ha ha, but I know, he can't do it for he doesn't know how to climb on trees without branches. Family Trip

I am happy with my cousin for winning a trip to Boracay for two last week. She has been working on a direct selling company for a couple of years now. The company gave them incentives that whoever could reach the quota will be qualified for a raffle entry, and one of the prizes is a trip to Boracay for two. Lucky there is no definite date for the prize to be used. She can use it anytime she wants. She’s planning to use it this summer with her husband. Since the price is good for two only, she will shoulder the expenses of her two kids. They are all excited to walk in the beautiful white sand in the beach, and stay there for a couple of days in a cottage that look like the cornwall cottages in North Cornwall. How I wish I could go with them, but it’s a family trip, so I would be out of place if I would go with them.

Happy Birthday uncle Jr. I know this is your saddest birthday that you've ever had before because your brother died three days ago. I know your brother is a great loss for he acted like a father to the siblings since "lolo" died. I saw you last night crying. I asked your daughter-in-law why you can't stop crying. She said, it was your birthday yesterday, and "lola" reminded you, that you and (late) uncle Tiago will go to the big river in Braccatan and swim. I didn't know that lola doesn't know that her second son died. Well, anyway, belated happy birthday to you again and be healthy always.

My brother needs a helper.

My brother in Canada has planned to look for a bigger apartment when his son arrives from here. He petitioned his fourteen year old son to unite with him in Canada. Since he is living alone, his place right now is too small for them if his son will arrive soon. That’s the reason why he wants to move from a bigger place. I know it is hard for him to do that right away for he is busy at work. He works six days a week. I know the hardest part when moving is the packing and unpacking all of your things. I could relate that because when we moved to another place before, I had got all the body pains after moving. I packed and unpacked our things all by myself. I guess that’s the hardest part when you do it alone.

My brother says, he probably hires a moving company that includes packing, unpacking, and a truck that could be used because he has no time to do it all by himself. He has been searching for a mover who is affordable and has been in the business for a longest time to ensure a good quality service would be provided. His co-worker recommended the Los Angeles movers, but he didn’t try to contact this company yet, the movers in Los Angeles are known to be the top movers in the city because of their excellent work. If only I am there, I would start packing the small things now.

Away from home.

I am so sorry if I can't blog hop tonight for I am still here at my uncle's wake. I will be home tomorrow, but I will be very busy, so probably I could visit you back tomorrow night. There is no schedule yet for my uncle's burial because my aunt still waiting for his son, who is now in Japan. Anyway, this is only an update. I will write more about this when I am home but I will not post any picture of my uncle's wake. I will only post the pictures of my relatives. Hope you'll understand.

Wedding Invitation.

A few months ago, I was invited to attend a wedding, but since the venue was too far from our place, I declined the invitation. The venue was in Boracay. They are actually living in New Zealand, but the couple decided to get married here in the Philippines because her father is in Manila. After the wedding, they went back to New Zealand. One of our friends was the principal sponsor of the wedding. She told me that since the couple is not living here in the Philippines, the couple requested if ever there are Wedding gifts, they requested for a cash, gift cheque, or gift certificate that could be used while they are here.

My uncle died this afternoon.

While we were eating our dinner, we watched TV at the same time. The sound was too loud that I couldn’t hear my cell phone ringing. But Janjan was asking whose cell phone was beeping, and I told him that it wasn’t mine. We continued eating and we ignored that cell phone beeping.

Later, I heard my cell phone ringing. Since I wasn’t wearing my eyeglasses, I never knew who the caller was. I just answered it and I recognized the voice. It was my cousin who called. I was shocked with the news that she had. Our uncle died only this afternoon. We didn’t know here that our uncle was rush to the hospital the other night, and he died this afternoon. I was sad because the last time we visited his place, he was happy to see me and Janjan. His children actually told me that Janjan has the same body built of their father. To my handsome uncle, may you rest in peace.

I want a clutter-free home.

I went to my aunt house this afternoon just to give the phone number of their life insurance company in Manila. She asked of this the other day. My aunt was cleaning their roman blinds style, and she was also replacing curtains in her bedroom. I love the fabric design and color of her curtains. It matches to her bed sheets and pillows. Her bedroom is not really big, but she managed to make it spacious and clutter free.

Well, there were no kids in their house that is why you can’t see any toys or kid’s stuff on the floor. It is not like in our home that toys are everywhere, books are on the floor, crayons are scattered, and I am tired of telling them to keep their things after using. By the way, there are only two kids in our home, its Janjan and my niece but when they scattered their things on the floor, it seems like there were many kids playing inside. Honestly, I am happy during weekends, because I don’t see any books or notebooks scattered on the floor. They were outside playing with their friends.

Watery Wednesday - Fish Pond

I thought today is Tuesday, ha ha, gladly my son was here beside me, and he was telling me that today is Wednesday. Sometimes it is hard if you are just staying at home all day and doing nothing except blogging. Well, that's the difference of being a single mother and no husband would be coming home in the afternoon or at night. Ha ha. You won't bother the days passing by. Anyway, since today is Watery Wednesday, here are the photos that were taken a few months ago when my family went to the park here in our place.

School break is approaching and I am sure kids are excited for their school vacation. In the family, during school vacation, we usually spent the kids holidays on swimming either pool or beaches. If money is available, we sometimes visited our relatives who are living in the mountain. Ruby Tuesday - My little angles.

Oh! no, they are not my own children. They are my niece and nephew. These two little angels are so adorable kids. They can sing and dance like their Mommy Ganda (Mommy Pretty) and that's me. When ever I asked them to sing or dance, they are not shy to show it for us. 3rdy can sing "Baby, Baby" by Justine Beiber even though he can't pronounce it well. He also loves "Waka-Waka" song. If you still remember the "Nobody" song, Jaja is good at it. She sometimes wanted me to follow her when she danced. Anyway, these are my entries for Ruby Tuesday meme.

Blue Monday - Beach

How was your weekend everyone, hope it was great. Our weekend was the same. We just stayed at home the whole day. Anyhow, since today is time for our Blue post, so here are the photos that were taken last month when we went to the beach.

These are my little angels. My nephew and niece and they are Janjan's favorite cousins.

And this is my big nephew trying to bury his little sister to the sand. The good thing, Jaja was kept on laughing while her brother digging the sand.

Here's the little brother. He was so scared when his big brother buries half of his body to the sand. We're laughing when 3rdy was yelling and telling us that he doesn't want to die.

I am interested on Web Designing.

I have friends who have talents on a web designing. They don’t need to hire web design companies if they wanted to have some changes on their site for they can make it on their own. Honestly, I envied for those who can make web designs, templates, or layout. I have been trying to search an online tutorial on a web designing for I am really interested to learn these things. It is a great advantage if you can design your own page. Right now, I am just using templates from a site where you can grab it for free. However, this blog was designed by Dhemz of My Life Perception and Inspiration. My three other blogs are using free templates. I wish one day I could design my own templates. How about you, are you interested to learn on a web designing? Do you know where should I start, what software should be needed when designing a template, etc.? It would be much appreciated if you can share it to me.

If there’s a bad news, there’s good news as well, and that’s what we are having right now. In the latest news on boxing, former two-division world champion Nonito Doanire (26-1, 18 KOs) scored a spectacular second round knockout to take the WBC/WBO bantamweight titles of reigning champion Fernando Montiel (from Mexico) (44-3-2, 34 KOs) on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. It was a left hook that put Montiel on the deck. I congratulate Nonito Donaire for winning the battle against the Mexican boxer Fernando Montiel. Filipinos are so proud of you.

Yesterday, Janjan and I went to the wet market, and we bought fish and vegetables for dinner. While we were busy looking around, Janjan saw his classmates with the mother too. Since, she’s one of the officers of the Parent Teacher’s Association, I recognized her easily. She is friendly too, and we talked for a minute. She told me that they now have shirt printing business, and if ever I know somebody who is looking for a shirt printing, she’s willing to give a commission if the order is 50 shirts above. They designed anime characters, logos, and they also provide a brochure for anime characters and logo design ideas for you to choose from. I asked for a calling card from her, but unfortunately, she has none because she only brought her small wallet. However, she gave her cell phone and land line phone number to me. I am happy for her because she managed her own business, and I am sure it will stay long because the shop is surrounded with schools, and that’s a perfect location I guess.

E-mail Marketing

As I was about to write this, I received an e-mail from a friend saying she had ventured into a scented candle making last Christmas. An Entrepreneur article inspired her to go into business because it’s so difficult to be an employee with a small salary. I am happy for her for she likes what she has been doing lately. One of the strategies she makes is to inform all her friends by sending email, and she asked for referrals too from us. She’s running a small business email marketing now. Well, I just wish she will succeed in her business. I believed running a part-time venture will give you the time you need to learn the business and the confidence to take on bigger risks once you’ve proven to yourself that, yes, you can do it.

Whenever I saw this meme from my friend’s blog, I always told myself to join again, but this brain of mine kept on forgetting this meme. Anyway, here’s my comeback entry. A few days ago, I was craving a green mango. I was more than a pregnant woman when I asked Jason to buy a green mango anywhere. Lol Jason came back with these green mangoes. Hallelujah I said Ha ha. So, I hurriedly peeled the skin and ate it. Yummy!

Save Energy, Save Money

I have never seen a residential here installing a metalized aluminum foil in their roofs or attic to help them save electricity bills. I guess this EcoFoil Radient Barrier that I found today online is really good if you could save money for your electric bills. But I guess this attic insulation is unsuitable in our home, or here in our place. The main purpose of this foil is to minimize the consumption of your heater or cooler. It helps to reduce the heat of the sun, or the coldness of the weather like winter time. When I read the description of this product, I was thinking that this is also good for warehouses here. I remember when I was still working in a textile company; our warehouses were so warm, as if you were baked inside the oven. So, probably it would be nice if this could be installed to the roofs of the warehouses here. What do you think?

Nostalgic Thursday

Rose of Nostalgic Marveling reminded me again of today's Meme. She probably knows that I am so forgetful Ha ha. Anyway, I found this picture from my old folder, so I thought of sharing it to you. I was only fourteen years old on that photo. If you could notice the white flower on top of the hood, this jeep was used as a bridal car of my cousin's wedding. At 14, I was the one who caught the bouquet when the bride threw it in the air. I had no idea why my cousins were laughing when I had the flowers on my hand. I was supposed to cry but my father told me that it was only a game Ha ha. Thanks to Rose anyway for hosting this meme every Thursday.

A few weeks ago, I happened to watch Korina Sanchez talk show. She featured a man who won 87 Million pesos jackpot lotto a few years back. The host interviewed the man how he spent his winning money. He is just an ordinary employee in a not so big company. The man bought a house and lot worth five million; cars and he also invest his money into business. Boating on the river is fun.

While I was surfing here on the net, I found a beautiful place to relax, unwind, a place where fun is unlimited and priceless. These villas in Turkey reminded me when we were still kids. During summer vacation, I and my siblings will be staying at our grandparents place until the next school openings. Our cousins were there too for the whole school summer vacation. We had lots of fun like boating on the river, lake, and sometimes to the sea. It was certainly a world of fun for me, and now my kids love boating as well, but they never have tried on boating to the lakes or river. They usually went on boating to the sea with their cousins too. I wish, my kids would also experience lake boating or even just a swimming in the river. I am sure they would definitely love it.

Finally, I am back here in the blogosphere. I would like to say Huge THANKS to all my friends who have been loyal to me ever since, that, even if I was not here for a couple of days, you were here in my blog saying “hi” to me. Thank you so much guys, and I promise to visit you back as soon as I can starting tonight. Anyway, for those who didn't know where I was for a couple of days, well, I was just staying at home doing nothing for I sent my computer monitor to the shop. The shop has only one technician, so it took for me a couple of days to wait for the result, but eventually, I ended up buying a new one.

It’s the season of love once again. Everywhere you look, you see glimpses and touches of this well-celebrated occasion! By now, your kids are probably being asked by their teachers to create their own Valentine’s card. Most couples are already looking for tokens for each other and restaurants will most likely start competing for your attention on the best Valentine’s Day promo! Love is truly in the air! And while Valentine’s Day is usually associated with lovers, spending it with your family is certainly not a bad idea. After all, nothing beats the unconditional love that a family brings. Sorry guys, I admit it. I am not a good actress. The photographer (Vernz) asked me to do an act of being angry because I caught my boyfriend talking this beautiful woman. But, I couldn't because it will just ruin my day, and it will also create wrinkles if I get mad, so I'd better smile at the photographer while choking my unfaithful boyfriend. lol

6. Being a mom is one of the best parts of my life.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to blog hop, tomorrow my plans include as usual, its laundry time and Sunday, I want to relax, and sleep longer, I guess.

Beautiful People in the Blogland.

Wednesday last week, I met one of my idols here in the blogging world. She was with two other male bloggers when I met her. Anyway, when she asked me if I want to meet her, I was really excited. She mentioned the two bloggers, but I never thought that they were males, (kinda not comfortable with it. lol.). I saw her already sitting at the coffee shop together with the two young male bloggers. So, I came near and then Bingkee shouted as soon as she sees me. She introduced me to her friends and on that afternoon, we had a good talk like we were old friends. I learned few things from Bloggie. He shared his knowledge on blogging stuff. Nonoy is a silent type guy, but mind you guys, he is a musician and a lead singer in his band. Actually, if you are a follower of Bingkee’s blog, you can easily recognize her in person. She looks the same; the cute dimple when she smiled is the first thing you would recognize from her.

On Sunday, I had a meeting to another blogger named Vernz. If you are a follower of Vernz, you will know that she’s a cheerful and a good-humored person. You will know that from her blog posts, or when she commented to your blog posts. She is still the same in person. Actually, I came late to our date, he he and I saw her sitting on the table while she was reading a book. So, I approached and asked her “ikaw na ba yan Vernz?” Ha ha.

I had two glorious afternoon on separate occasions. I know and I am sure that was the only beginning of our "kita-kits". We are all excited on the next meeting, hopefully this month.
