A Letter from a precious friend

When I got home today, my mother handed me a letter, but since I was so tired from today’s doctor’s appointment, I headed to my room and took a nap. It was almost dark when I woke up, and I remember the letter that mother gave to me. I opened it without reading the sender’s name because I was not wearing my eyeglasses. Janjan was beside me when I opened it, we were both surprised when we saw that it was a Christmas card. When I opened the card, there was a small paper dropped to the floor. Janjan picked it up and said “wow! ang ganda nya, parang si Akesha (Wow, she’s pretty like Akesha), and when I look at it, it was Rylie, the beautiful daughter of Rose and John Ha ha. I was really happy when I read the Christmas greetings even late.

I know Rose sent me a card, but when I heard on the news that one of the container vans of Philippine Post Office was hi-jacked, I was sad and hoping that the card is not included on that van.

I treasured all the cards that I have received. For me, the message is more valuable than the material things. You can read it again and again, and still it will give you smile on your face. So to Cottrill’s family, from the bottom of my heart, HUGE THANKS to you guys. I salute you for being wonderful parents to Rylie and EJ, and best friends to everybody. Muah!!

BTW: I’ll post the picture tomorrow for it is not good if I will take picture on it now for it is dark already.
