Layout, Template, Logo Designs

I’ve been dropping Entrecard since I started blogging. I noticed some of the bloggers have their own very nice layout design and I envy them because they know how to design their own layout. My Mom’s Place layout was designed by Dhemz of My Life’s Perception and Inspiration. My EC small badge was also designed by her. She’s so talented and very creative in making layouts, templates, design logo, header designs, and badges. No wonder, she can change her layout or header anytime she wants. I wonder if there’s an online tutorial for making any designs because I am really interested to learn these things. This is a great advantage if you know how to design your own layout or template and perhaps you could also make a business with it. How about you guys, are you interested in making your own layout, template, logo or badges? Well, I hope that one day, I can design my own LO and badges for my other blogs.

ABC Wednesday - X

This is my first time to join this meme. I found this meme on one of my EC droppers and it sounds interesting so I tried to join this and here it goes.

X is for x-ray

Last month I accompanied my father to his doctor for check up because he had a bad cough. The doctor requested a new x-ray for his lungs. We headed to the hospital laboratory and had his x-ray results in the afternoon. The result was not good because he has three small holes in his lungs and that makes him hard to breath. Well, right now he’s taking a medicine for his lungs.

Planning for a scholarship program

My youngest son is still in Elementary and he said he wants to be a doctor someday, wow! That’s a lot of money. I don’t know where to get that kind of money for his studies in case he will not change his dreams. I will be a proud mother if he became a doctor someday but that’s a lot of savings, I need to work hard, and I think I need to look for financial aid or for an institution that grants a scholarships program. To be honest with you, I don’t have any idea about scholarships because I never tried to ask for it with anyone. I went online trying to look for a financial assistance website just in case my son does not change his mind, and I found a site that talked about Financial Aid. I was glad that it helps me to understand the whole thing. The site is called AnswerGator. Try to visit them also; perhaps you have questions in your mind that you can’t find the answer to even with the world book.

Heaven's Grocery Store

It is just an inspirational message to everyone.

I was walking down life's highway a long time ago. One day I saw a sign that read: Heaven's Grocery Store. As I got a little close, the door came open wide. And when I came to myself I was standing inside. I saw a host of angels. They were standing everywhere. One handed me a basket and said:
"My child, shop with care. Everything a Christina needed was in the Grocery Store, and all you couldn't carry, you could come back the next day."

First, I got some PATIENCE. LOVE was in the same row. Further down was UNDERSTANDING, you need that everywhere you go.

I got a box or two of WISDOM, a bag or two of FAITH, I couldn't miss the Holy Spirit for it was all over the place.

I stopped to get some STRENGTH and COURAGE to help me run the race. But then my basket was getting full, but i remembered I needed some GRACE.

I didn't forget SALVATION, for Salvation that was free, So I tried to get enough of that to save both you and me.

Then I started up the counter to pay the grocery bill, For I thought I had everything to do my Master's will.

As I went up the aisle, I saw PRAYER and I just had to put that in, For I knew when I stepped outside, I would run right into SIN.

PEACE and JOY were plentiful, They were on the last shelf; SONGS and PRAISES were hanging near So I just helped myself.

Then I said to the Angel, "How much do I owe?" He just smiled and said,
"Just take them everywhere you go."

Again I smiled at him and said, "How much do I owe?"

The Angel smiled again and said:

"My child, JESUS paid your bill a long time ago."

Bidazzled: a Pay-Per-Bid Auction Site

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

I never tried to shop online but my husband does. He loves auctions and bidding too, sometimes he wins, sometimes not. He taught me one time how to bid in an auction but I was not really interested. The other day, while I was surfing here on the net, I found an auction site called Bidazzled. I was impressed because the site was created to support The Ruch Foundation, a charity for lung cancer. The people who like to bid can save up to 90% on retail items. Bidding can be purchased in advance and then use it to bid on merchandise. There is only a very few cents increase with each bid placed, and a few seconds are also added to the countdown clock so that others have a chance to bid. When bidding is finished, the winner could get up to 80% to 90% savings and if you don’t win, you could still receive up to 50 Bonus Bids as a way of saying thank you for participating. So nobody loses in the bidding. Bidazzled will also make an offer to the winner to buy back the merchandise for cash (paypal or check), cash and bids, or bids.

Bidazzled also offers 15 additional bids if you use this code until January 15. All you have to do is enter it on the registration page and it’s all free.

Blog: BBP1202A
Twitter: BTP1202A

You can purchase bids for $1.00 and bid packs for as low as $25.00 and get bonus bids when you purchase a bid pack

Here’s what you can get when you join Bidazzled Viral Referral program. If

A refers B. A receives 5 Bonus Bids
B refers C. A receives 4 Bonus Bids
C refers D. A receives 3 Bonus Bids
D refers E. A receives 2 Bonus Bids
E refers F. A receives 1 Bonus Bid.

So, if you like biddings visit the site now and join the fun.

Homeowners Insurance

My cousin bought a new house in Texas . I am happy for her family because finally they own a house now and are not renting anymore. This is actually what she always wished for. Now that they already moved to their new house, she was asking me if I have knowledge about homeowners insurance. Honestly, I don’t know a lot about homeowners insurance, so I told her to go online and search for her question, perhaps she can get an answer for that. Since she’s busy at work and don’t have time to go online, she asked me to do it for her. Well I was glad that I easily found a site that answers all her questions about homeowners insurance. The site is not only answering questions for homeowners insurance, it is a site wherein you can get answers to whatever is on your mind like dental insurance, life insurance to name a few. They provide reliable answers to your questions. So, if you are planning something for your life and you are not sure about it, ask the experts; head over to AnswerGator and you will be informed.

Blue Monday - Beach and Pool

Here are other photos when we had our beach/pool party. Since it’s time for our Blue Monday meme again, this will be my entry for this week. Some pictures were posted to my other blog and here. As I’ve said in my previous post, the place has two options; you can swim to the beach or pool. Our kids prefer to swim in the pool, well; they are much safer if they will just swim in the pool and not in the sea.

The kid's pool.

Blue Monday - Japanese Umbrella

The other day, I went to the beauty salon for my pedicure schedule. While I lay my back to the soft chair, I saw these beautiful Japanese umbrellas on the ceiling. I like the way they displayed the umbrellas so I asked the beautician if the owner of the beauty salon is Japanese National. She said, only the husband is Japanese but the wife is Filipino. So, I took pictures of it and I also took pictures of my feet while the beautician was working on it but I will post that on my next post. Lol. Why Gas Happens

Last night, after eating our supper, I had a bad stomach trouble. I went out just to look for my medicine but unfortunately there was no medicine at the store nearby so I went back home without medicine. It wasn’t really bad so I just ignored it. When I was sitting here in front of my computer, I kept on farting, as in loud and clear lol but there was no smell and every time I released gas, I fell better. How many times did I fart, many, many times until Janjan told me to run at the toilet while laughing at me because he taught that I need to sit there inside and I told him that it was only a gas pain and there were gasses to my stomach maybe because of the food I ate. I explained to him that perhaps my digestive system didn’t work to break down the food I ate and gas is the leftover product when those foods sit in our colon. Portions of foods that can't be broken down and digested by the intestines travel to the colon, which is full of bacteria. The bacteria in our colon ferment these undigested particles of food, resulting in gas, burping, and flatulence. Well, I am not sure if Janjan understand it when I explained this to him last night. When I went to bed, I still had the gas pain but it was not really bad at all.

My day yesterday....

Yesterday was a bad day for me. In the afternoon, while I was doing my rounds here, the electric power was cut. It was too bad because I was almost finished clicking on my Adgitize when the power was cut. Well, for a couple of nights now, there were three electric posts that were not working, no more lights at night; two of these posts are near to our house. The small road going inside to our house was so very dark at night and yesterday the electric power company fixed the posts. They finished fixing the posts late in the afternoon already and that is the time for me to cook for supper so, I can’t still open my computer. When everything was finished, from cooking, eating, cleaning the dishes, I watched my favorite evening TV show after watching I sit here on the computer and continue what was left undone. Just a few clicks, I thought I was dizzy, the computer table was moving slowly, and then I looked up under the computer table, my chair and all the things here in my room. Whoaa, the moving became stronger and stronger. Oh it was an earthquake! The people outside the house where yelling, most of them were men. I heard my father who was watching movie at that time, he opened the main door upstairs, my brother who was also watching TV in his room, opened his door also. Janjan was already sleeping and Jason was not yet home. I opened the kitchen door, main door downstairs, and the bedroom’s door. The earthquake was shaking from left to right and not like a bouncing ball.

For those who never experience earthquake, good for you but in case you will experience this, don not run, walk slowly, don’t go near to glasses, chandeliers or to any objects that may fall, open all doors because usually doors are hard to open after the earthquake. When earthquake is so strong, cover yourself under the table, if you are outside the house, don’t go near to trees and keep eye on the road, if there’s a crack line, walk slowly away to that crack, it may bury you alive. If you are in the building, don’t use lift or elevator, use the stairs instead.

That was my day yesterday. I am just glad that the earthquake was not really strong and it only lasts for seconds. Have a nice weekend everyone.

I was tired this afternoon.

I was so tired today. My father and I went to his doctor this morning because he is coughing again so bad after he traveled for a couple of hours to his relatives few days ago. My mother told me to accompany my father to the doctor. The sun was so hot when we went out. The bad thing was I forgot to bring my sunglasses. We left our house at 8:30 in the morning. When we were there already, the doctor was not in. It was only the daughter of my father’s doctor but she’s also a doctor. She told us that she can’t entertain my father because she can’t touch the record of her father’s patient. And she told us to come back on Monday morning. So we went out of the clinic and decided to go home.

I was tired because the heat of the sun made me weak. It seems like all my energy drained because of the heat of the sun. When we got home, I went straight to my bed and lay without changing my clothes until I fell asleep. It was about 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon already when I woke up. It was my stomach who woke me up because I didn’t eat my lunch yet. And since I slept the whole afternoon, I think I can drops 300 EC for my two blogs and perhaps I can also do adgitizing. Well, wish me luck and enjoy your weekend.

Food Trip Friday - Hot and Spicy Chicken with Spaghetti

This was my order when Janjan and I ate at Jollibee few days ago. I love their hot and spicy chicken, so yummy and very crispy. So i hope you enjoy my entry for this week meme. Click here for more yummy Food Trip Friday participants.

Shopping at the mall

When my cousin was heavy with her first child, she bought an ordinary wooden bed and a thick mattress. She thought that it will last a long time. Now that she is heavier than before, she is scared if the wooden bed she bought before will collapse or break down because one of the bed’s legs is not so good anymore.

Last week, she came to our house with her kids and she asked me if I can accompany her to the mall because she wants to look for a new bed. I laughed at her because the last time she bought her bed, she didn’t ask help from me. And now she wants me to accompany and help her to decide which one is good and what might be better. We headed to the mall on that day and went straight to the Furniture and Fixture department. We looked around until we saw some very nice contemporary platform beds. They were so attractive with a perfect design for a couple and we really liked them. The next thing we did, we were looking for the price. The prices were not displayed so we asked somebody to entertain us. We talked to a saleslady and she gave us lists of the bed’s models and prices. Wow! The bed was really nice but the price was really bad. It was quiet expensive but the quality was really good. Well, she didn’t buy it but hopefully when her husband arrives from the States, she will probably buy that bed.
