Online Dating made me complete

It’s been 3 years now since I met my husband through an online dating site. I am so grateful that I found my man, my soulmate, my friend through a dating site. On my side, because I am a woman, the membership was totally free. To my husband side, he paid for his membership but the amount he spent in looking for me lol was worthwhile haha because he found a very loving Filipina wife through the internet dating site.

I also have a cousin, aunt and friends who have foreign husbands. But, in their time, it was through pen pal and snail mail. I remember them; they sent their pictures together with their biodata in a magazine company outside Philippines and published their pictures there. They kept on writing by sending through the regular post office. Thanks to the new technology today, there are no more hassles of going to the post office, no sending any pictures or biodata and no money to spend a little for the postal payment. Today, just sign up on a dating site, answer a few questions which are just a few personal questions of yourself, put your picture to make sure that they are writing to their opposite sex. And one thing is good and I like, you will type and not to write on a paper. You know, not all the people have a good hand writing. You are lucky if your hand writing is good and easy to read. And also, when you write today, you can send it right away and he or she can receive it immediately. So, for those who are seeking a friend or maybe a very special friend that will lead to marriage? Try to join a online dating site, who knows, you might also find your luck from them. You don’t need to be expert on the internet. Everybody can do it.

They celebrated the anniversary by joining the “Walk for Love” event from the Rizal Monument in Manila to promote the importance of health awareness. It was organized by HERO or Health Education, Reform and Order, a program pushed by several doctors’ associations led by Dr. Anthony Leachon, one of the Top Ten Outstanding Filipino Physicians for 2008.

PhilHealth officers and personnel led by Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Lorna O. Fajardo, Vice President for NCR Group Rodolfo M. Balog and Region IV-B Assistant Vice President Paolo Johann Perez, joined the walkathon.
The activity started around 6:00 in the morning with wreath-laying ceremonies at the Rizal Monument led by Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim. It was Followed by a four kilometer walkathon that ended at the Plaza Rajah Sulayman.
In support of Mayor Lim's advocacy towards a healthier populace, PhilHealth similarly upholds the value of preventive health care, and believes that a healthy nation produces a productive citizenry.

Friends quotes

Friends 4ever

A friend is an extension of yourself.
Without a friend you are not complete
so take care of yourself cause
i don't want to lose a part of me.

A friend is someone who has a heart
that gives completely,
lips that say things so sweetly and
a love that brings JOY endlessly.

A friend is there to love and protect
to give and take,
to show respect,
whatever you do,
whatever you may be, remember that
you have a friend in me.

Sweet quotes for all of my friends here (Too many to mention).
Thank you for keeping my blogs alive.

Scroll bar on Sidebars

Are you happy doing blogging? Do you feel sometimes that you want to stop blogging because you think that blogging is hard work and you need to learn so many things?

I read some of the blogs that are written about blogging. They said the key to success on blogging is patience. Do I have this “word”. Well, let us see.

Yesterday, while I was visiting some of my friends here, I always notice that they have scrollbars to their sidebar. Since I am a new blogger, I asked myself how they did that. So, I decided to ask Dhemz how she put her scrollbars to both of her sidebars. She replied and I read her old posts about scrollbars. OMG, I found out that it was not easy. I went to blogger just to ask help but they didn’t have answers to my questions and I got an instruction to go to google. I went to google and found an answer to my question about scrollbar on sidebars. OMG again, I followed all the instructions; I didn’t skip reading but still not working to my sidebar. I was so upset. I almost talked to my computer and asked why it didn’t follow me plus I have a very slow connection because I am using dial-up internet connection, it made me even madder. The whole afternoon, I was doing the scrollbar but it was not a successful one. Can you imagine, just a scrollbar to my sidebar and I cant do it? I wish Dhemz is by my side so I can ask her to do that for me lol.

Anyway, maybe sooner or later I will find out on how to put scrollbars to my sidebar just to save space to my blog. If somebody will give me a link on how to put those things to my sidebar and willing to give step by step procedures then it will be very much appreciated and maybe I can also give you a reward by putting your link to my blog and I will review your blog for free.

To my question above, am I happy doing blogging? My answer is “yes, I am happy and I enjoy it although there are things that are hard to understand, but I am learning patiently”.

Philippine President visited Davao

Here’s the news for all the people who are interested Davao City , Philippines .

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo came yesterday (Feb. 19) with the investors from China and Thailand to visit the 224-hectare mariculture park at the Island Garden City of Samal, making true her statement a week ago that she would bring investors to explore the region’s agricultural investment potentials.

The President and some Chinese and Thai investors were briefed by Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) officials on the park prepared by the Office of the Press Secretary for the event.

The President, visitors and other officials were at the world class Pearl Farm Resort for the morning activities and no one was interviewed by the members of the media because they made it a private setting.

The mariculture park, opened in August 2001, has eight investors and the location of the BFAR demonstration farm has created several jobs, said Rupert G. Mata, a staff of the mariculture park.

Among those who were employed in the park was Henry R. Boncales Jr., a resident who has been earning about P4,000 a month as feeder of the Jorona fish cages. He witnessed the arrival of the President and her companions, he has been working at the park for two years now. Boncales said, he hopes that investments in the area will continue to expand to open opportunities to the jobless in the area. I wish that too.

7. I get into arguments. ________
8. I shout or throw things. ________
9. I feel that people will take advantage of me. ________
10. I never feel close to another person. ________

Now add the numbers and put the total here. __________

Compare your total score to the scale below to get a general idea of the extent to which your anger and aggressiveness may be a problem.

0 - 5 = AVERAGE

My naughty puppies

Do you have a hard time trying to train your dog? Do you believe that there are dogs that are easy to train and others that are not?

Well, we have 2 puppies in the house named Jacky and Jinky. They are both 5 months old only. They always gave us trouble here like biting our slippers, tearing off the foam of our chairs, running after the small chicks inside the yard and bite them until the chicks can’t move and have blood running. They are so playful, hard-headed puppies, they don’t listen when you call them.

But in fairness, they are also good puppies. Every time I wake up in the morning, they run to me and it's as if they greeted me good morning. When I am not in the house for a couple of hours, when I come back, they greeted me also like standing to my front and gave a kiss. This makes me feel good. Our Mengmeng, cat, she never did all these things. When I wake up in the morning or I was outside and just got back home, she never minded at all..haha. She ignores every thing. But our puppies, oh they are loving and even if they are like that, I love them both. I just wish that they will change when they are matured already.

Lesbian Cat

This is Tanya's cat. Her name is Maggie.

Do you have cat who can pose or project in front of the camera? Well, she’s not my cat. She’s Tanya’s cat, my Canadian sis-in-law. I like her cat, so cute. She has a nice pose. I also have cat here but she’s very shy. Every time I get ready to take photos of her, she will run and never come back. Even if I will call her, she never listens.

Do you believe that she’s a lesbian cat? Sounds funny, right? But it’s true. My cat is a lesbian cat. She doesn’t like a male cat to be her friend. She also gets mad if there’s a male cat to our kitchen. But to a female cat, she’s so nice and she’s willing to give her food to our visitor cat. Sometimes, she tried to go up behind the female cat. I was shocked. I told Mengmeng that she’s not a male cat. I told her that she has the wrong equipment. Lol. I don’t know if she understands me. Well, she’s old now. Her brother cat died already. And I am sure, if she’s gone, Tanya and Roger, my husband, will miss Mengmeng also because she’s a nice cat.

This is my Lesbian cat named Meng-meng.

Toys

When you were a kid, can you play with your friends without a toy?

I remember when I was a child; my friends and I could play without toys. We played running, hide and seek or fixing our hair like putting some ribbons in it. If it is school vacation, we went to our grandparent’s house. All of our cousins were also there. We would stay there for 2 months vacation. I loved to stay at our grandparent’s house because they were living on a mountain. I love getting guavas from the trees, I love riding on top of the carabao or riding the cart at the back. I also like calling the goat if theres a rain coming. It was so fun for me to stay in the mountains especially if my cousins and I would go swimming in the very cold river.

Helping our grandparent’s farm was like a play time for me. I remember my brother, he was bitten with a centipede but since he doesn’t know the name of that thing, he was shouting, crying, yelling that the snake bit him. Our grandfather ran and helped my brother and he was looking for the snake too. When our grandfather asked how big or how long the snake was, my brother told us that it was as big as our grandfather’s middle finger. Grandpa laughed because it was not a snake but a centipede. There’s a lot of thing that we could do in the mountains. We don’t need a toy to play with but now, my son and his friends, they can’t play without a toy. And sometimes, they have jealousy. If one has a new toy, others will ask their mother to buy that kind of toy also. I told my son that the only toy that I had when I was a child was my Jackstone. If only I have a daughter, maybe we will play jackstone. I have nieces but they are still small kids.

Blogsvertise opportunity

Friday (Feb. 06) after sending my youngest to the school, I turned on the computer so I can check my blogs again. Luckily I have friends who visited my blogs but unfortunately I didn’t have tasks to all of the paid post sites I joined. Sad. Anyway, the reasons why I joined paid post sites like Blogsvertise, is simply because there’s no boss here. I spend a big part of the day in the house, I have my computer, I have my internet connection so that’s it. When my friends told me that I can make money thru blogging, at first I was not really interested because I never tried to write or compose a story but later I started to have fun here until I made my 2nd blog. It was also my friends who told me about Blogsvertise. I joined with them and I found out that their website is easy to understand and easy to navigate. Instructions are brief and clear. When you ask help from them, they answer you quickly. So, I like Blogsvertise the way they entertain their members. So bloggers, if you want or need extra money in your pocket, why not join now at Blogsvertise. I am a new member there and in just few days, I got my first task. Next time I will post about my income from them.

Cats

Do you have pets like a dog or cat? If you have one or more, do you know how to take care of them? Did you include them to your budget especially food? Or sending them to the vet when they get sick? I have a neighbor here who owns 6 cats now. 4 are big and 2 are still kittens. I hate their cat especially the cat in the picture. You know why? They have cats but they don’t give enough food to their cats. And because of that, their cats are so quick and fast getting foods on the table. How many times this cat did steal our food on the table? Their cats are not trusted. We also have a cat but she’s a good cat and never stole our food on the table. If we were eating, she can wait her turn and if ever she’s so hungry, she will just cry and ask for food. She never touched our food on the table even if you will let her stay in the kitchen. I was just wondering why they adopt cats but they don’t give enough food. Sometimes, I was just thinking that maybe there are rats inside their house so they really need to adopt a cat. Our cat is such a lucky cat, she has good food to eat and she loves her Whiskas.

Top five cancer-causing foods

Live Life Without Limits!
AND PASS THIS INFO TO WHOM YOU CARE

The top five cancer-causing foods are:

1. Hot dogs
Because they are high in nitrates, the Cancer Prevention Coalition advises
that children eat no more than 12 hot dogs a month. If you can't live
without hot dogs, buy those made without sodium nitrate.

2. Processed meats and bacon
Also high in the same sodium nitrates found in hot dogs, bacon, and other
processed meats raise the risk of heart disease. The saturated fat in bacon
also contributes to cancer.

3. Doughnuts
Doughnuts are cancer-causing double trouble. First, they are made with
white flour, sugar, and hydrogenated oils, then fried at high temperatures.
Doughnuts, says Adams , may be the worst food you can possibly eat to raise
your risk of cancer.

4 French fries
Like doughnuts, French fries are made with hydrogenated oils and then fried
at high temperatures. They also contain cancer- causing acryl amides which
occur during the frying process. They should be called cancer fries, not
French fries, said Adams.

5 Chips, crackers, and cookies
All are usually made with white flour and sugar. Even the ones whose labels
claim to be free of trans-fats generally contain small amounts of
trans-fats.

C. A. R. I. N. G.

When I was in high school, my friends and I enjoyed having fun in creating the meaning of anything, such as words that we want to give meaning to, like MARLBORO, BEER, CIGARETTE, LOVE and a lot more but actually I forgot already the meaning of all these words. While I was alone here, well I am always alone here especially on weekends; I was sitting on our stairs and holding an old magazine. I tried to open it and read a little even if it was crumpled already. I found the meaning of CARING for couples. Do you know what the meaning of this word is? I will share it with you.

C - Communication
Talking to one another, calling one another, telling what’s on our mind,
sharing our feelings.

A - Affection
Touching one another, holding one another, buying special things
for one another.

R - Responsibilities
Taking the lead in completing tasks and helping one another do projects.

I - Interest In
Asking how the other feels, inquiring about other’s day.

N - Noticing
Carefully observing and interpreting clues to each other’s feelings,
then discussing them with each other.

G - Greeting
Physically acknowledging each other’s presence following a separation
due to work or sleep.

That’s the meaning of CARING that I read today. Did I give you a little idea on how to care for your loved ones? Well, I hope it helps a little for you.
